hey Ken good to hear shes doing ok, i hope she heals successfully bro. good luck to you all.
-sc driver #28 Thomas.W. 05/09

from sport compact 64 will not be racing any more lost again this time for good you good year wont be there 05/09

The lady in the 52 Sport Compact is doing good. She stayed in the hospital for 7 days. She broke and dislodged her Femur and had to have a rod inserted into her leg. She also severly dislocated her ankle and fractured a couple bones in her foot. She is going in for an MRI in a couple days to see if there are any tears in her shoulders. She has minor pain there. Beside that she is good and should be in a walking cast in 6 weeks. Then out of that another 6 weeks.

Grass roots are feeding the rise of a new nation designed for racers everywhere

Whenever she gets bored at work and there’s no one around to talk with, Ronnie Everhart heads for her favorite hangout.

She knows she’ll always find friends there, no matter the time. Most of them will be auto racing junkies, like her, who are eager to talk about the sport they love or display pictures of their car or show a video of the race they just won.

They’re the ones Everhart had in mind during the three years she spent formulating the concept for www.RacinNationUSA.com, the Internet meeting place that was launched in December and quickly is becoming a favorite stop on any tour of motorsports web sites.

The Nation welcomes fans and competitors from all levels and all forms of motorsports and has a myriad of features to keep them interested and entertained. There are chat rooms, blogs, news articles, forums, photo galleries, videos, classified ads, quizzes, polls, music options and more.

There’s even a “how-to” section to

“I don’t even think I’ve explored everything that’s in there,” said Everhart, who owns Graphic Concepts in Riverside, Calif., and is both a Street Stock racer and pit announcer at Perris (Calif.) Auto Speedway.

The site’s real attraction, however, is in the platform it provides for the grass-roots racers to economically interact with their fans, their sponsors, the media and each other. That was Everhart’s real motivation for developing the site that creative web master Danny McCarthy has polished and refined.

Everhart said she has three primary goals for RacinNationUSA. The first is to give the legions of Saturday night short-track racers an economic but effective way to build recognition for themselves and their team. The second is to foster an interaction between the drivers and the public that will result in the fans attending races to support their favorites. And the third is to create interest among potential sponsors, a commodity in short supply even in the best of times.

RacinNationUSA provides the framework for success in all those areas. The basic membership is free to all, but a VIP membership at $29.99 a year is a real bargain considering it was designed with the drivers and race teams in mind.

The VIP status gives the member the ability to post up to 250 megabytes of content on his or her page. That will accommodate more than 100 photos and 60 minutes of video, and music easily can be added to the mix.

Most importantly, however, VIP status also gives the member access to a sponsorship proposal outline that can be expanded upon and frequently updated to keep existing and prospective backers updated on what the driver or team is doing, has done and can do to promote and benefit the sponsors.

There is a sample VIP membership on the site that gives prospective members a detailed look at what RacingNationUSA has to offer them. In addition to the photo and video potential and the usual biographical information, there are sections for the driver to post his own blog; to talk about what class or series he or she is racing in and at what tracks; to spotlight members of the pit crew; to identify sponsors and provide information and links to their web sites; to post the team’s race and appearance schedule; to talk about family and jobs and share other information that helps connect with fans; and to detail what has been accomplished on the track in terms of race victories, championships and so forth.

Used properly and updated regularly, a member’s page allows family, friends, fans and potential sponsors across the nation to keep track of the driver’s progress.

The same tools are available to race tracks and other organizations.

“We need to get sponsors back to the grass-roots level,” Everhart said, and RacingNationUSA is a major step in that direction. But, she said, “It’s up to the drivers and the teams to make everything work for them.”

Visit us at www.RacinNationUSA.com and we’re sure you’ll decide to become a permanent resident.  Female racer are also welcome to join www.racingirlz.com.  05/09

All Sport Compacts come join us on June 6th at the Perris Auto Speedway.  I have checked your schedule and there is no conflict with race dates.  The PAS has unified the rules with Victorville Raceway and all VV Sport Compacts should be legal.  I'm not trying to steal cars from VV, simply an invitation to race a different track on a date that your track is dark.

Hope you join us for a great night of racing. RaceAngel P.S. I would also like to invite all drivers to join www.racinnationusa.com for free driver profile pages including pictures, forums, blogs/raceupdates to keep your fans, family and sponsors informed on what's happening in your racing.  All drivers, all ages are welcome to join.  A great free tool in promoting your race program.  5/09

Just wanted to say that I think the Derby is gonna be good. Especially the Sport compact Derby you can find a running cheap car for a fairly decent price. Also the roll over contest is good but the think that I like is where someone in the stands can take there car out on the track for a lap or two. Sagus had a thing like that back in the day called the EGO challenge. They would have a couple of people take there cars out there. One at a time of course and time them Winner took home a little dough. Also the Chain races are awesome. i think Figure 8 chain races are the best. Also even  if it was a sport compact Chain race. The little cars are getting pretty cheap to find. You just gotta keep them stock off the street and make it something for fun not fo big people will pour lots of money into there cars. There is also another thing that i see on Lucas Oil tv and thats where they have a group of say 5 people the have 1 runner and 5 blockers. Its like a circle track race meets derby. One guy from each team tries to complete ten laps first and the other four from each team try to block him and take out his car.    02/09

whats up everybody, so a while back i asked for help with my car the 79 honda accord, well iam now having to go low budget, big surprise right, everybody is low budget these days. just curious if anyone knows how to lock a front wheel drive, that may be my only chance to keep up with anyone. well i hope all the builds are going great and looking forward to being back out on the dirt with yall. if anybody wants to help me or send me some advice heres my email, fifty9fordman@yahoo.com, goodluck to all.

ATTENTION EVERYONE THAT READS OR POSTS TO THIS PAGE

I am Pleased to announce the launch of ONEDIRT.COM.  Onedirt is brought to you by powerTV Networks. It is a website that is dedicated to bring to you all things Dirt!!! The website is currently in "Soft Launch" mode, which means it still has few bugs to work out, but powerTV has given Victorville Auto Raceway Racers and Fans an advanced viewing and participation on there website. ONEDIRT.COM's project manager is none other than VV's Own Bobby "BJ" Kimbrough,Which means V.A.R will be getting V.I.P Treatment.

I have been talking with BJ for about a year now about this project and wish I could write the words describing just how much he loves EVERYTHING Dirt Track and Everyone at Victorville Auto Raceway. I have found that his 2004 Sportsman of the Year Award from Victorville may have been a Mistake. Yes, a mistake. It should have read Sportsman of the Decade. but enough Stroking his Ego, The guys at ONEDIRT HQ will never hear the end of it.

Don't take my word for it, if you'd like to see a representative of ONEDIRT's Quality Potential and Sponsor Base, go to www.streetlegaltv.com

We ALL need to represent ourselves on ONEDIRT.COM. I have been involved with VAR for about 6 years, whether I was crewing for my brother, talking smack on this website, or driving my hoompty, I have been here. During this time I have met some Very Amazing People, from your average fan to the most seasoned racer. There are more than a few people whom I only know by face alone. Though with www.terrykurtz.com and www.youtube.com/videosportz doing the video features, I am putting the names with faces. My Point is, with ONEDIRT.COM, We have a place to represent ourselves to Not Only VVAR locally, but to the Entire Nation!!!! There are already tracks checking in from the Northwest as well as the Northeast and also the Red Clay Racers of the South AND the site hasn't even been advertised yet. IT'S GOING TO BE OFF THE HOOK!!!

PLEASE go to www.onedirt.com and check it out, but More so PARTICIPATE!!!  Don't be Shy, If your a Racer or a Fan, Please contribute to the site. If your unable to, for whatever reason, but might have pictures,Videos or Stories to contribute get ahold of me at kdawg17@gmail.com or call 760 810-2520 (leave message),If for whatever reason your not comfortable contacting me, Then you could always get ahold of BJ at bj@powertvmedia.com .  Either way, Please Help make Victorville a Known Name in the National Dirt Track Circle.

 ATTENTION 2009 ROOKIES,

I am wanting to do a project for ONEDIRT.COM. If your Race Operation is located in the High Desert Area and You wouldn't mind an extra crew member, please contact me at kdawg17@gmail.com . It would mean free advertising for your sponsors or would add to an already exciting season.

  SPORTMODS,

This offer is Valid for you also. I think it'd be a great way to showcase this up and coming class.

(All my other friends, Don't Worry, I am going to get you covered also. Some of you I have contact info for, but If you have not contacted me yet please do so. This Season is going to be Amazing!!)

Please keep in mind ONEDIRT.COM is in it's infant stage, Some of the stuff posted is just "placeholders" The regular content is coming January 2009.

Thank You For Your Time.

Kevin Andrews kdawg17@gmail.com 12/21/08

Just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Patti#38    12/18/08

Jefro,

I agree there is not much I can do to get additional horsepower, But I truly believe horsepower does not make the car that much faster at that track. Its all in the handling. I ran a 2.5 in the turkey and felt like I had to much HP for what I was set up for. (never had it to the floor once) I believe if I can keep my 2.3 with a good chassis set up I am the fastest car out there. ( If I could learn to drive ) Chassis set up is the key to that track.

And I too look forward to all the new things Mike is trying to do at this track. I am already looking for a beater and a trailer. Can't wait.

 Scott Oppermann

P.S. I always enjoy your comments on this thing, someday I will have to meet you.    12/18/08

i love the idea of a fan participation race.  if you put it on i will be there!!!

First of all I would like to say WOW! Mike it never ceases to amaze me the awesome racing and entertainment you bring to V.A.R. but GEEZ! I have a hard enough time keeping up with Jefro now, but to add trailer races, derbies and ROLLOVER contests! I do believe Dena might get upset with you because with all the videoing I will be doing I won't be able to SCORE!!! HAHA! No totally awesome about all the great entertainment for next year, hopefully all will work out the way you see it.  Now about the radio thing, it is a good idea if they work right, but come on, do you really think that these drivers that can't understand your in front or behind this or that guy or go to the rear are really going to be able to understand Hey your behind number so and so over the radio, I personally think it is a waste of time and money for you and the racers because it will end up taking more time for them to understand. It is hard enough for some of the drivers to add 1+1=2!!! Just my opinion!!! Now to the EYES IN THE PITS, I feel very sorry for you, cause the minute your identity comes to be known to the people that you are ragging on, well lets just say if you are a boy ( I can't call you a man!) it will not happen at the track because these guys are there to kick A$$ on the track not in the pits! but they will find you at the auto parts store, grocery store, or the thrift store where you shop!  Now if you are a woman I would have to say you better watch your back because although I am an OFFICIAL I neither will let it happen at the track, but the same I will come after your A$$ for talking smack about my husband or any of our friends. Just a warning, you too better be able to back your SH!# up cause the only reason your talking this way is cause your JEALOUS of what we have as friends and teammates and your just lonely!  Christi AKA a scorer, Jefro's wife, and Charlie and J.J's friend!!!!  12/16/08

HELLO ALL DRIVERS JUST WANTED TO THANK YOU FOR A GOOD TIME WATCHING THE RACES THIS YEAR,  I GOT TO ATTEND ABOUT 7 OF THE RACES AND HAD A GREAT TIME AT ALL.  THIS PAGE IS VERY FUNNY AND I HOPE EVERYONE HAS SOME FUN WITH IT.  THE ONLY PART IM DISAPPOINTED IN IS THE FOLKS WHO ARE AFRAID TO POST THEIR NAMES,  I FEEL IF YOU HAVE A COMMENT YOU SHOULD POST YOUR NAME AND BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR IT.  HOPE TO SEE EVEN MORE RACERS OUT THERE NEXT YEAR, STILL TRYING TO PUT TOGETHER A STREET STOCK FOR NEXT YEAR, TIME IS HARD TO COME BY.  BUT IF I CANT GET A CAR TOGETHER I WILL SURELY SEE YOU OUT THERE TO WATCH ALL THE DRIVERS.  ON SUGGESTIONS FOR TRACK,  HOW ABOUT MORE PRACTICE DATES THAT A GROUP OF DRIVERS CAN CHIP IN FOR AND COVER TO ENCOURAGE NEWER DRIVERS TO GET ON THE TRACK MORE?

THANKS FOR THE ENTERTAINMENT

I just wanted to thank everyone at Victorville raceway for a fun weekend!

I raced in the mini's, #21 (one of three trucks) and it was alot of fun! By the way everyone treated me there (very nice), I had no idea all this was going on between the mini's and the front wheel drive cars.  Both the races I was in seem to be very clean!  It should be fun guys.   So i thank all of you who run the track and race it for letting me come down and have a great time!   And if any body wants to come up and race at Mohave Valley Raceway be sure to stop by my pits, I hope you feel as welcome as I did!  Thanks again!    Remember It has to be FUN!

Hey yo radios suk if you really don't know who your racing go to the back it doesn't  matter to you . At least mike aint making us buy from one of his buddies selling junk so he can blame the scorrers for the mix up (Dena would pop the top on a can of whoop azz). see it really aint that tough !!!!!!!!!!!

Or is it??????

To Scooter Black #5: I just read your comments on here below, you mentioned mini stock drivers are mad because we have to race with you, I am not sure why we would be mad? The top 5 of the Turkey Classic was all mini's. I do not recall seeing any sport compact pass me in the A main. I believe the only way you and your friend will end up 1st and 2nd next year is if Mike keeps two point systems between mini's and hornets or the mini don't show up

 Scott Oppermann     12/10/08

Not sure what happend to the guy who isn't happy with John's work but I know for a fact I have bought several pictures from him and even had him do some special work with some and they are well worth the money I paid and he is always contacting me to give me my pictures I have never had to ask him for them, I can speak for The #55 sprint as well in saying he has had nothing but positive dealings with John.......THANKS AGAIN JOHN SEE YOU NEXT SEASON I HOPE!!!!!!!!

Jeffro,

Kevin Scott was referring to my fuel cell. See in the rules it says you can not use a cool can in your fuel system. It doesn't say anything about warming the fuel.  You See according to the 3rd article of the 2nd Law of Thermodynamics subsection B. it takes a certain amount of energy to convert the fuel from a liquid to a vapor state. When you use a cool can, it allows the fuel to be cooled down in such a way that it completely bypasses the solid state when it hits the intake manifold.

If you reverse the process and run a heater core inside your fuel cell, it takes even less time for the fuel to become a vapor, than if it was cold. Sometimes though, the lead in the fuel gets stuck in between states and you end up with little clumps of high octane particles in the bottom of your tank. IF you in turn collect the particles and save them up, you can then add them to regular pump gas and turn it into race fuel.

Sometimes for fun I slip some in the dog's food. Nothing happens at first, but after awhile he starts passing gas and runs around the yard bumping into walls and doing donuts around the cat.

Someday I hope to have enough particles to be as fast as a mini stock. Hmmm Thatah be sumtin.

By the Way, No Name Posters. If yall are truly racing against these boys next year, You better get your game on. Scooter cleaned your clocks in his heat. If that was any glimpse into next year, the rivalry between pintos and imports is going to be EPIC. You all have been running the same platform for Years, Scooter had a matter of 3 weeks to tune his car, and absolutley creamed you guys. Yeah he ended up with the short end, but you wait. The off season gives the kid more than enough time to fine tune his hot rod.

Come On Mike, Throw us a Winter race in January sometime, off season sux.

Kevin Andrews   12/8/08

To: "The biggest and baddest of the pits".. thats all you are.. you are nothing on the track.. you must be one of those minis who runs in the back of the pack because i know sure as hell the ones who run up in the front really dont care about what kind of car it is they are racing a race car as a race car front wheel drive or rear wheel drive.. funny because the car that did keep up with the minis and if i remember right one his heat race at turkey was Scott "Scooter" Black and he is in a all stock front wheel drive car. so just wait i did not race at all this past season except one race due to i was building my front wheel drive to be at the front of the minis next year and i can guarentee that as long as the scrubs like you stay out of my way.

Quack, quack, quack!!!  Eyes from the pits..... Here ya go brother

Overview

The first generation Mitsubishi Eclipse was sold as an entry to mid-level four-cylinder sports coupe. Four trim levels were available: the bottom three were front wheel drive and the very top was all wheel drive. The top FWD and the AWD model were equipped with turbocharged engines.

The car underwent minor changes throughout its production; 1992–1994 models (1Gb) have updated sheet metal and are easily distinguishable from previous vehicles (1Ga). The most notable of these changes is that the 1Ga models have pop-up headlights. The Eclipse was revised into a new vehicle for 1995 (described below in the 2G section).

[edit] Trim levels

The Eclipse was available in four trim levels during its first-generation production run. AWD models were not available until halfway through the first model year.

  • Eclipse: Base FWD model equipped with a 92 hp naturally-aspirated engine 1.8 L 8-valve SOHC 4G37 engine
  • Eclipse GS: Upgraded FWD model with slightly more equipment
  • Eclipse GS DOHC: Upgraded FWD model equipped with a 136 hp (101 kW) naturally-aspirated 2.0 L 16-valve DOHC 4G63A non-turbocharged variant of the 4G63T engine**
  • Eclipse GS-T: Top FWD model equipped with a 180-195 hp* turbocharged 2.0 L 16-valve DOHC 4G63T engine
  • Eclipse GSX: AWD model equipped with a 180-195 hp* turbocharged 2.0 L 16-valve DOHC 4G63T engine

* 1990 manual transmission turbocharged models were rated at 190 hp, whereas 1991 and later manual transmission turbo models were rated for 195 hp (145 kW). The automatic models were rated at 180 hp (130 kW) due to smaller fuel-injectors and turbocharger.

** 1990 1994 DSMs did not come with the 420A engine, which was not added until the second generation.

These models varied significantly in drive trains, available options, and—to an extent—appearance. The Eclipse GSX, for example, was sold with different plastic body cladding than the base Eclipse.

[edit] Drivetrain

The basic driveline layout of the Eclipse is a transverse-mounted 4-cylinder Mitsubishi 4G37 or 4G63 engine situated on the left-hand side of the car driving an automatic or manual transmission on the right-hand side.

The 4G37 and 4G63 engines are both I4 gasoline engines. The 4G63 is composed of an iron engine block and aluminum cylinder head and is equipped with balance shafts for smooth operation. The turbocharged version of the 4G63 (sometimes referred to as the 4G63T) is equipped with a lower compression ratio (7.8 vs. 9.0 in the naturally aspirated version) and oil squirters under the pistons in order to better cope with the stress and extra heat caused by forced induction.

There is also a difference between rear axle/rear ends on all wheel drive models. 1990-early 1992 cars have 3 bolts attaching the axle to the wheel hub. Late 1992–1999 have larger diameter axles and attach to the hub with bigger, 4 bolt axle cups.

Sorry, Had to take a page out of the  NON- vigilante renegade ex cop's book to prove a point.

If you "supposedly" knew alot about cars, I wouldn't of had to post this. Looks like I called your bluff. Oh, and I got that off of www.wikipedia.org ref. Mitsubishi Eclipse. Ahh sweet knowledge.

I didn't run this weekend bc of a gas problem. Too many burritos. But seriously, I had a blown head gasket. Didn't want to risk doing permanent damage to my motor. The money I saved on not doing a major rebuild just bought me special ignition, computer reprogramming, a LSD trans, cold air induction, and a couple more burritos.

My mouth has never won a trophy (except the pie eating one) but my "junk has".  Four main event trophy's this year plus the big one. I'm just curious..... how many did you get?

By the way for those who were not watching, Scooter won his heat with a bunch of "big dogs" in it and almost won the trophy dash with a bunch of "big dogs" in it and started mid pack in the main, moved to fifth, beating all our tracks "big dogs" except one, until his comp screwed him up.

SO HAHAHAHA you poo-poo heads. Charlie Weasel ( I haven't heard that one since a girl in third grade called me that) Is coming with Scooter, Jacob, Sooter, Timmerman x2, Sponge bob Dennis,  and THE DAY MF JEFRO, not to mention my alliances with already mini's Jabberin' Jimmy, and JJ "The Rocket" Burnett next year. Its going to be fun. So lets have a blast next year and run with each other then hopefully we can have a beer together afterwards. I don't bite...... yet!!!

Oh and Jon....... um, uh you, uh ,um, he said, umuhhhhh, DUHHHHHH!!!!!

First and Foremost Kevin Scott. Thank You So Much, for checking in with us. There isn't a race day (or any other day for that matter) that goes by that I don't think about what you must be up to. I am glad to hear you are doing well. I for one miss you at the track. I am glad to hear that you will be back next year. I love your account of the 2008 Tikrit Champ. I laughed so hard I think I tinkled a little HAHAHA    Keep Your Head Up and Eyes Open Bro. We are praying for you and your boys (and girls) safety. Thank For Everything.

Turkey Classic. Big Thanks to Everyone on the VAR Crew for your efforts preparing the track. We ALL Appreciate the effort. You did the best you could with the amount of moisture the track received in the previous days. 8-10 guys out there with shovels??? You can't buy that kind of dedication. THANK YOU I'd also like to express my humble gratitude for your support this weekend. I can't find the words to explain how much it meant to me to pull in on both days and have you guys rooting for me. Then during my quasi victory lap in the heat, you guys lined the track clapping for me. Thanks, It truly did make me feel good. I am sorry I didn't represent the Local Boys in the Trophy dash. It's just that I beat the dog snot out of my car in the ruts in turn 1 to take that win and I wanted to save the car for Sunday. If I knew my run on sunday was limited to 1/2 a lap, I woulda went for broke Saturday Night.

SuperChuck,  Don't let the Yahoo's get to you. Do I agree with everything you have said?? NOPE.  Do I respect you for signing your Name?? YUP.   I like the way you other fool's get on here and toss around the smack talk like your some big ol bad a$$ but neglect to sign your name. Shows real cajones on your part WTG!!!!  (by the way. I used $$ instead of ss. That way you don't realize I just cussed.)

I am going to do that next year when I root for Brian Fabri in the mini stocks. I will just say " Go Bri&n Fabr!"  That way I don't jeopardize my Bad Ass status. I still love ya S.C., But in all that smack talk you failed to recognize the threat Brian Fabri poses to your dreams of back to back champs against a returning champ that absolutely dominated his season in the mini stocks.

Anyway, I will go for now, I look forward to the responses from these no name posters that now have an open door to sling some my way. Someday I hope to get my car to go as fast as a Mini Stock!!! (a guy can dream can't he??)

WAIT!!! I can not Leave until I give a Shout out to Mark Nustad's Crew Chief Lucy. Actually this is to both of you. Mark made my racing year on Saturday by toying with me in staging and on the track with gestures and smack talk. That was So Much Fun!!!  I hope you caught my wave to you when I lapped You!!  LUCY, Thanks for giving me THE BIGGEST laugh I have had in awhile.  Just before rolling out onto the track Lucy left Mark's car and come walking towards me with a mad dog look on her face. She Yelled "KEVIN" then very quietly but very sternly said "If you wreck Mark, I am going to beat the SNOT out of you!!!"    I laughed so hard!!! I don't think I have ever laughed so hard inside the car before a race.  You Guys are what this is All about. Thanks to you and Everyone else for the Memories!!!

Awwwwwwww   Hey Charlie the big dawg or Should I say Charlie the Pound Puppy what happened if your so big and bad why were you not running Your Hunk of Junk ? You sit on the rape page and run your big mouth about how your the Big Dawg of the track then for the biggest race of the season you sit on the fence but in this case we shall call the fence the pooch Porch I saw many of Pooches 2 and 4 legged .Just goes to show ya Charlie your mouth run's better then your Junk Does .Maybe next time before you open that Fly trap of your's you will bring your Front wheel Cheater car out to Race with US BIG DAWG"S :)

People that act tough and don't show up to race are called Pound Pooches .Maybe you need to take some Lesson's from Us Big Dawg's .The Mini Main was pretty kool to see all the front wheel drive car's all but 1 drop out of the race .after hearing all the Little boy's that drive the front wheel drive car's talk smack about how well there going to do against the pinto's and then to get SMOKED looked to me like the Hornet car's put the cart before the horse as they say .Remember this Charlie the Weesel we stop riding Tricycles back when we were kid's front wheel drive Car's $uck in my book                                                      The Biggest and Baddest of the Pit's

                                       11/30/08

Hello my racing family,

I have settled in well here at COB Speicher. I have a room with a bed, big TV, DVD player, Xbox with NASCAR games, my Laptop, and wireless internet. I just need some pics of my favorite VAR racers to cover the walls. Im still working long hours but more mental than physical. I am the Operations and Intel NCO for my company. I plan, track, and resource all missions my Company conducts. Im also responsible for briefing each patrol before they leave on current Intel. Kind of cool job with lots of computer toys like in the movies. I even have a "secret squirrel" badge to get into the "secret squirrel" buildings for briefings. I guess I'm a glorified Taxi dispatcher for my guys.

I read the website a bunch. It's better than the news paper for me. I love hearing you guys and girls go back and forth on the rap page. It really highlights the personalities I have grown to love and miss from VAR. At the end of the day were all spending a crap load of money on a hobby. Could care less about the money as long as the personalities are there to keep it fun and interesting.

How about Bryce Foster in Street Stocks this year, from what I hear that kid has not only talent but a lot of class as well. He had a few opportunities to wreck a few of you for a win but decided to lift instead. Some of you old timers should take note of this 17 year old kids maturity it would do you good. CONGRATS Bryce on a 3rd place season finish, hell of a job. It makes me sad he will probably be leaving for college and I won't get to race with him next year when I return.

The rest of you look out though, I have read a few books and have consulted with the local Tikrit 2008 Dirt Track Champion. These dudes know how to set up a camel to just glide through the corners. They treat each other with respect, as they all have AK-47s and have a knack of bomb making. Anyhow, I hope the "warpig" is staying warm in her winter coat outside on blocks. I plan on keeping the paint job, hanging a new door (thanks Tooley), fixing the rear bumper (thanks Ralph Cook), and putting a bunch of Hot CoCoa in the fuel Cell (Thanks K-Dawg) when I come home on leave. Then of course pick up with my VAR Career where I left off after this deployment. I miss all of you and hope you all have a blast this weekend at the Turkey Classic. I wanna thank Bobby Thomas and Greg Wilson publicly for everything they have done for me in the past couple of years. I hope Bob Sr is doing well and recovers soon. I could never have been able to start racing if it wasn't for Thomas Motorsports. Most all of you prob could say the same. I have never seen a guy do so much for a stranger as Bobby does every race. The Fosters, the Timmermans, John and Carol, the Blanks, the Stauffacher's (and Betsy), the Andrews, the Gibson's, Terry Kurtz, Chris Tooley and little Bryce, everyone in the scoring booth and all you others in the pits (so many I can't name) that treat me so well:

Thanks for all the support your giving me and my family while I'm gone, Kristi and the kids love coming to see you all and Shaye loves to tell me all about it on the phone. I hope you all have a safe race and a very Happy Thanksgiving. (and yes even the Sprint Drivers) sorry I won't be there to drink the night away and BBQ for everyone.

Dear super chuck I beleive you brought this upon yourself this season you told me that you would by my pictures at every race and would have the money to pay. me every time I saw you I would give you the pictures and you would have to go to the bank to get me the money you never had the money on you.

I have personally gotten E mails from customers on my website saying that they did not receive their pictures so I personally would redo their orders snd send them their packets of art work.

So Wanna be Hero Super Duck {Chuck } yes we all know that you don't have the correct motor in your car and the only way you got a chance to win is by cheating your way to a checkered flag this yr was by switching motor's .Yeah do I think that you have a big Head Yeah Just a Little just cause you can win in the one Div Does not mean you are going to be a Hero in the next .way I see it is more like a Zero .if you would just quit tootin your own horn and release some of the air out of your head you would see your not all that and a bag of chip's .   Eyes From The pit's

P S No I am not a mini stock driver but would run circles around your Big A$$ if I was .Hope you bring more then just a trailer for the Turkey I think you might want to find a rollback so you can Haul your Junk Off after the weekend Dude  :)   P S S if it looks like a Duck walks like a Duck and act's like a Duck it Must me Super Duck {Chuck}   Weasel    11/30/08

AWWWWWWWWWW  SUPERCHUCK  oops I mean super duck yeah you have a fast car for your class but when you get to run with the big boy's this weekend we will see just how well that bucket of bolt's will hold together yes I know car's better then you think and yes sense when did your car come with a twin cam motor .O that's right you need the extra HP to move that thing around the track sense you have so much left side weight .Remember when you have to move up to the real car's you won't end up being such a big Hero but most likely you will end up looking like a BIG ZERO .Eat a lot of Turkey Boy and your wish will come true when you Grow up you will be a real racecar driver .

Ah, that holiday spirit does bring out the warmth from within,
eh, rap pagers!  It's amusing to follow the drama trail, but it'd
be a little more enjoyable if all would recall what Linda Ronstadt
once sang
(and scripture reveals)Pride comes before the fall.
That said, let me interject my humble gratitude for so many
of you allowing me to become a part of the VAR scene by
having video features done.  There's an undeniably
delightful menagerie of curious characters racing any given
weekend.  Remove any one of you, and fans are given a little
less to savor.  Insiders say Jefro won't be taking the track this
weekend!  C'mon, recently crowned Jack Of All Trades, find
something to crash--er, drive!  A Turkey Classic without Jefro
Blalock is like, well, Thanksgiving without the turkey!  If the
rap page has a jester, it's Jefro in his recurring role.
The
turkey will provide some dressing, 'though, as daughter Kaddee
will debut while Hannah and Dacey race.

Wish we could persuade Bobby Kimbrough to knock the
dust off his K9, too, and show us the Temecula Terror in
action
(but he's got good reasoning behind remaining a spectator,
this time around).  Bobby brings a moral conscience to the rap
page.
Sure to be shootin' for a street stock checkered will be the
KDawg in 33x.  Speaking of a re-CUR-ing role on the rap
page, the dandy 'Dawg does stir the pot, ruffle feathers,
make waves and rattle the rafters on a regular basis in his
Joker approach, but all for the right reasons.  Keep it up,
'Dawg, and good luck this weekend!
Triple-XL Charlie had an incredible year, and it's good to
see he's being recognized for his generosity toward so
many other drivers.  Brad Bennett's of the same mold
(generosity-wise, Brad, not size-wise)
As for the Vegas boys?  Three-to-five mods, a dwarf and
a coupla late models
...(sounds like Snow White meets
Pirates of the Caribbean)...and yet, not one has signed up
for a video feature?  What's with you guys?  Are you in
some witness protection program or something?  I know
a video feature on you guys would appeal to the
eighteen-years-to life demographics!
Track champs Troy Morris (mods) and Seth Wilson
(sprints) will be making long treks to be here.  With targets
on their backs.  Can't imagine the '08 season without their
consistent racing, and I treasure the opportunity I've had
to get to know these true champions.
For newcomers, fans and racers alike, you've no idea how
far this track has come the last coupla seasons under Mike
and Dena's tireless efforts and unrelenting dedication to
dirt racing.  Bigger crowds will come, because racing has
improved and top talent convenes in Victorville on a regular
basis.  The VAR staff deserves everyone's note of gratitude
for being there, rain (!) or shine, and building this track up
to its present status.  Understand how much they put into
Thanksgiving and Memorial Day weekends, and you can't
help but appreciate 'em.
Anyone reading this who's undecided whether to race, or
attend, the Turkey Classic, please make every effort to be
here!  The comraderie within the racing community is
unbeatable, and we need only think of Sgt. Kevin Scott
(and others) serving overseas to be reminded how fortunate
we are to have the opportunity to be around a sport we love
on this November weekend.
Hoping to see ya'all here!  Holiday cheer!         ---Terry Kurtz

It ain't about me guys, but I appreciate the compliments.  What it is about is SuperChuck buying cars and helping people out so they can race.  Ed, Dennis, Joe and even my hero Jefro owe Chuck for putting them in cars to race.  I've seen it.  He bought most of them from me.  It's about Jefro putting on a show everytime he gets on the track.  It's about Keith Prishmann, Chris Tooley, The Andrews Brothers, The Timmermans and Mark Nustad's crew for going out and racing hard.  My god, it takes so much to get a car ready for each event, and You guys have people that do it willingly.  Day in and day out.  You've got a really good deal going on at the VAR.  That's what it's all about.

Now it's time to show the rest of SoCal what you've got and pull off one of the best events we have in local dirt track racing.  The Turkey Classic.  Go and put on a good show guys.  I'll be there watching.

Oh, yeah.  Chuck, listen partner.  I know you and I know how much you do for other people.  I appreciate your wit and humor, but some of these folks think you're serious.  Friendly rivalries are cool but be careful not to overdue it and alienate people.  You're a Champion and you deserve lots of fans.

Bobby Kimbrough    11/25/08

Bobby Kimbrough IS my favorite poster. I hang it up beside my poster of superman.

And let's clear this up too I ain't got no beef with him either
He used to be like a hero to me

And yes Charlie  oops "SUPERCHUCK"  is not just a big dog but a bada$$ one at that nuff said proof next year .and the motor in his car did come in it. check it before you write it.....mmmmmmduhhh.his back up car has a different motor but they came with optional motors they also came with a turbo ut oh did I let the cat out of the bag??? but I also heard he was using hot chocolate in his fuel cell but that's just another rumor and he didn't cheat his way into a win there was 4 main and 4 heats and the championship. when did he get dqéd??? that's what happened to me when I "cheated".well Mr big dog check the rule changes for next year you should have tore him down before the new LEGAL MODS, lets just say next season we will all see who lifts there leg to pee  !!!

Hahahahahaha I'm somebody's personal hero how big is the trophy for that bigger than the championship thx bobby..and ill even let out a secret your post's kept me on the page even when I wasn't racing UUUrrr  owweesuuuum...and kdawg is the best smart a$$ hands down, heck he even dogs himself out how can you not love that???    FAASSSTEER DEENE LITE'NEN NO REEEDEEE GEFROW     11/21/08

HAHAHA!!! Lets get this party rollin'.  First and foremost, Bobby Kimbrough. You are every ones favorite poster at least to me because I have never met a more gentle worded man. I look forward to reading your posts and talking with you whenever I can because you bring no drama with you.

Next to the "vigilante" cop. I am sorry for using that word. You believe in something and back it up 100%.  I respect that. Sorry if i ruffled your feathers. Your right my head is big..... I have to get special helmets made for myself. And I am glad someone else agrees with me on the real "criminal" trying to screw us out of our hard earned money.

   Now enough with being nice......

TO THE SIMPLE MINDED FOOL ACCUSING ME OF CHEATING. Lets take your post and analyze it. The way you said " Remember this when you run with the big dawg's next yr watch out or should we say If you can't run with the BIG DAWG'S STAY YOUR BUTT ON THE PORCH"   Tells me that you are..... or more likely, "were" a Mini Stock driver. Then you signed "EYE'S FROM THE PIT'S"  Which tells me you were watching us all year. Probably beating someone you knew...... or a kid of yours!!!! Hmmmmm....... I'm starting to get a clear, but very short, picture of who you could be. Then you put "by having a motor that doesn't come in your car ".  Well heck, That tells me you don't know much about FWD cars, probably only pinto motors. Uh-oh. If you talk to Scooter Black, or Jacob Fincher, or Teresa Timmerman, they would all tell you that would be next to impossible. That would require severe cutting of motor mounts and re-welding, and that would also throw off your trans line up with your front wheel axles which would then lead to broken axles which I didn't break one of this year. You had all year to tear it down so why didn't ya? HUH? Hmm.... Do I even want to talk about the "Hey So called Super Chuck now that you Cheated yourself to a win this year". Ok lets take our shoes and socks off so this will be easier. 1...2 .....3.....4.....heat race wins......1.....2......3.....4 Main event wins. Hmmm... carry the 2 divide by 4..... equals 8 total race victories this year. Would have been more than ten if it wasn't for some flats and general bad luck.

I'm sure me winning this year had nothing to do with my seven years of racing experience, or the fact that my crew chief helped me make sure the car was running at optimum performance every race. Hell I guess with the way my motor smoked like crazy wouldn't suggest that the motor probably had over  150 thousand miles on it or the fact I never lifted in the corners, or the way I maneuvered through traffic, or the fact that I had 54% left side weight to help me get through the corners. It had nothing to do with all that. I must have been cheating.

When it comes down it, I AM THE BIGGEST DOG IN THE PACK AND YOU WILL BE IN MY YARD NEXT YEAR. SO DON'T SPEAK IT JUST BRING IT, I NEED A NEW CHEW TOY.  You will have plenty of chances next year because I am sure You will be seeing a lot of my rear bumper in front of you.

This has been a presentation of Triple XL Entertainment. Let the insults fly!!!

K-DAWG, Bobby K, Day MF Jefro, I'd love to hear your thoughts on this and I KNOW I WILL!!!!

Signed "The SUPERCHUCK", aka TRIPLE XL, aka THE KING OF KINGS!!!

hey all , the vegas boys will be back for turkey time , 3-5 mods ,1 dwarf, and the 2 latemodels , just wanted to give fare warning so we can plan on having a good time together. some of our cars got tore up in vegas and were still tryin to reattach our asses that got handed to us .........................haha but were all about fun !!!!!!!!! seeya

Everyone's favorite poster?  I hope you're being facetious  SuperChuck!  Congratulations on your run this year.  You deserve it and I'm very happy for you.  When the good guys come out on top, it's always a cool deal.  Jefro, you're a maniac and my personal hero!  When I grow up, I want to be like you.  Kdawg, it looks like you got the rap page moving again.  No one can stir it like you can.  It does take some skill to be a smart a$$.  In my book, you're a pro!  And you're still my bro.  I managed to make it out to the track three or four times this year, and I saw a lot of people that deserved praise.  The VAR has a very neat and tight knit group of people that make this thing go.  Congrats to all of you.

before you call me a vigilante cop, please read the following:

The term vigilante has Latin origins: "vigilans/vigilantis"- the present participle of "vigilare" (to watch), and stands now for "watchman" or "watcher"[1], but the modern word is taken from either the Italian or Spanish language. Its etymology is closely related to (though its meaning very different from) that of the term vigilance. Note that the term vigilantism is a derivative of vigilante, not of vigilant or vigilance. The term vigilante was introduced into English from the northeast United States. Vigilantism is generally frowned upon by official agencies (who would otherwise encourage vigilance on the part of citizens), especially when it gives way to criminal behavior on the part of the vigilante. Often seen in rapidly growing towns, citizens sometimes choose vigilantism, capturing suspected criminals and punishing them without a trial.

[edit] Vigilante behavior

An impetus of vigilante behavior must exist to facilitate a subjective definition of vigilantism.

"Vigilante justice" is sometimes spurred on by the perception that criminal punishment is insufficient or nonexistent to the crime. Some people see their governments as ineffective in enforcing the law; thus, such individuals fulfill the like-minded wishes of the community. In other instances, a person may choose a role of vigilante as a result of personal experience as opposed to a social demand. Most significantly, some vigilantes specifically target authoritarian entities such as government.

Persons seen as "escaping from the law" or "above the law" are sometimes the targets of vigilantism.[2] It may target persons or organizations involved in illegal activities in general or it may be aimed against a specific group or type of activity, e.g. police corruption. Other times, governmental corruption is the prime target of vigilante freedom fighters.

Vigilante behavior may differ in degree of violence. In some cases vigilantes may assault targets verbally, terrorize victims, perform inhumane acts, or may exhibit no violence at all, choosing other means of pressuring the target. Anyone who defies government and institution to further justice can be considered a vigilante, and thus violence is not a necessary criterion.

[edit] History

Vigilantism and the vigilante ethos existed long before the word vigilante was introduced into the English language. There are conceptual and psychological parallels between the Dark Age and medieval aristocratic custom of private war or vendetta and the modern vigilante philosophy. Recourse to personal vengeance and duelling was considered a class privilege of the sword-bearing aristocracy before the formation of the modern centralized liberal-bureaucratic nation-state (see Marc Bloch, trans. L. A. Manyon, Feudal Society, Vol. I, 1965, p. 127). In addition, sociologists have also posited a close and complex relationship between vigilantism and the phenomena of tyrannicide and rebellion.

In the Western literary and cultural tradition, characteristics of vigilantism have often been noted in folkloric heroes and legendary outlaws (e.g., Robin Hood[3]). Vigilantism in literature, folklore and legend is deeply connected to the fundamental issues of morality, the nature of justice, the limits of bureaucratic authority and the ethical function of legitimate governance.

During medieval times, punishment of felons was sometimes exercised by such secret societies as the courts of the Vehm (cf. the medieval Sicilian Vendicatori and the Beati Paoli), a type of early vigilante organization, which became extremely powerful in Westphalian Germany during the 15th century.

Your words of me being a vigilante cop is like stating our soldiers are worth a sh$t for defending this country and I am offended by your remarks, by your own statements it is obvious your head is way to big and some unknown will let the air out after they whoop your A$$ in a race. As to the criminal, he did the same things and I refused to buy any pictures from him ever and I refused to sell him any of my products. I know how he paid for the corvette!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!        11/18/08

If I had an actual pointed camaro bumper, the win may of been mine!!!

Wouldn't trade this 2nd place finish for ANYTHING!!! To Date the MOST fun I have EVER had in a racecar. Thank YOU to the Scorers. I would not want to call that finish. If I had thought about it, I woulda stopped after the race and offered a 3 lap shoot out for the win!! Neither one of us Knew for sure.

Check the other pics for the Rear Rear Bumper falling off. I sheared all but 2 bolts from center to the left side on it. The Front Rear Bumper held just Fine though!! (yes my front bumper is actually a rear!!)  HAHAHA Team Super Duper Ingenuity at it's finest!!!

Hope you enjoy the pics as much as I did.

Wow! Drama on the rap page. Ahhhhhh I miss it. Between vigilante cops who cant spell while saying others can not read, to K-Dawg being a true smart a$$, ( by the way, that's how you hide that word ) , to Arizona sprint racers who cant realize a joke post kinda like how they cant realize how to go consecutive laps without a yellow, to a reply by every ones favorite poster Bobby Kimbrough, the drama never stops.

Now to more serious matters. I just wanted to let everyone out there know the photographer John Flaherty is a crook. He tried to get me to pay twice for a package of pictures. From what I have been told, this has also happened to others. STAY AWAY FROM HIM!!! If he does try to make you pay twice for a pic or package of pics, LET ME KNOW!!! We all work too HARD and HONESTLY for our money to have some snake try to screw us out of it.

Now last but not least, the thank you section. First thanks to Mike and Dena for giving us such a great facility to race at. I have been coming here for almost 8 years and the improvements since Mike and Dena took over are remarkable. You cant even tell that its the same track. Thanks to DAY MF JEFRO for being such a great friend and TEAMMATE. Due to the new rules for the SC's WE WILL DOMINATE NEXT YEAR, not because we will be the fastest but because we will want it more. Thanks to Scooter for giving me something to run from all season. We took home 6 of the 8 main event trophy's this season. SAY IT MCLOVIN, CHICKA CHICKA FIRST PLACE TROPHY'S!!!

Team Bad A$$ will be on top next year and for many more years. Kevin (your sticker is safe) , Jefro, Jim Burnett, and our developmental drivers, Hannah and Dacey, we took home a total of 15 trophy's this season including 10 Main event first place trophy's. Wow.... That's just simply........ dare i say it............ BAD A$$!!!!!!!

I think we all agree with Mr. Shedarowich when he posted about Mike and Dena's sense and sensibility in running the track.  They are pretty special as far a track promoters go, and IT IS because they care.  Dirt track racing is a passion for them, and most of us are very thankful that we have gotten to cross their path and share a common bond with them for a little while.  Let me join Mr. Shedarowich in saying Thanks Mike and Dena!  Our dirt racing world is much better because you're involved.

My buddy Kevin is a pretty much a Stand up guy and he likes to poke humor at everything.....including himself.  Most of the time he manages to get the rap page moving again with his wit and humor.  If you don't know him, it's pretty easy to misinterpret his intention.  If you do know him, you just have to chuckle at his posts.  I fully believe that Kevin would do just about anything for Victorville Auto Raceway, Mike, Dena and their family, as well as any driver in the pit area that asked for help.  That is what makes his posts so funny.  They are diametrically opposite of what his personality truly is.  I feel pretty lucky to be able to call Kevin my friend.

BJ Kimbrough

BJ Kimbrough

Darryl Shedarowich,

Got your goat did I?? HAHAHA, I like the passion!!  You musta bumped your head or something if you honestly believe I would blame weather on Mike! All the other points you made about Mike and Dena being great I agree with, but your mistaken about some things.  #1, There is no candy on my ass. #2, I am not fast enough, nor do I have enough money to race in AZ. #3, I make positive contributions to VAR in ways you do not know YET. But believe me you will know soon. #4 I would gladly volunteer my time to VAR, I love this place!! #5 a Soap Box wouldn't hold my fat ass!!! It's a stainless steel box with an escalator!!!

Anyway, Mr Shedarowich, I'd like to congradulate you and your team on a good season. I enjoyed your feature on Videosportz, and can't believe how fast all you sprints get around the track. I am going to find you at the Turkey so I can shake your hand. I appreciate the intestinal fortitude of a man who will come onto a site like this one and defend it so passionately, when by all accounts this is not your home track AND you signed your name!! Take Care, I think your alright, even though your involved in Sprint Cars!!!.....................................Kevin "Candy Ass" Andrews

p.s. Y'all take this too serious. Relax, laugh a little.... or not. It's All good.

YES THIS IS A RACE PAGE THEREFORE PLEASE WITHHOLD MY LAST POST HOWEVER I WOULD LIKE TO LET EVRYONE KNOW THAT MY WIFE CHRISTI IS VERY MUCH FEMALE AND HAS GIVEN BIRTH TO 5 AWESOME CHILDREN. I dont have a husband!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can read, quit well thank you.and lastly the bank is not nor cannot take over MY HOME  anytime they want ill even throw a double dog dare on that one.Back to racing ive had a blast this year thanks to everyone i got to compete , pit , and enjoy the racing with this year by far the best time ever at the track. congratulations to the SUPERCHUCK for the awesome domination and capture of the sport compact championship . you da man!!! thanks again for the opportunity to let my opinion be on post.    jefro   lightning blalock

Your right this is a racers webpage, but I have seen other things on this page other than racing. As far as other opinions it is nothing new to me, I have to deal with people all my life that refuse to know the facts and are the first to citizens the police, but the funning thing is these same people are the first one's to call the police when they need help, and what happens, they get the help they need because of the professionalism of law enforcement. This is all I have to say on this subject, I was not trying to stir up stuff. That post was not suppose to go to this site, but because my fingers are quicker than my brain it got sent. Good luck to everyone and remember we are all allowed to our opinions, that is why we live in the United States of America!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  Thank you and goodbye.

 Jeff Reed

Ok, guys  let me give you my views on some of the following topics.    First off Jefro, Reed and Kevin I am glad you all have your opinions on the Sheriff matter.  You are all right in saying this is a racing web site and yes Victorville Auto Raceway controls the site, however I only post what comes to me.  I never leave out posts.  If someone has something to say I try to be fair about it and let everyone speak their views.  I at one point posted something that Reed sent me on a sheriff and felt it was only fair that Jefro be aloud to also post his opinion.  It looks as if it is starting to get out of hand, therefore I have withheld the last 2 responses from both, if either of you would still like these to be posted let me know.  But this is a racers rap page.

2nd Darryl Shedarowich and Kevin Andrew.  I knew that when I posted Kevin's post that he was only joking about the rain, he even told me when he sent it that it was all in humor.  Darryl I also thank you for your kind words and was all to happy to post them.

ok Now that I have had my word, and so that you all know that you are free to talk about any topic that you wish and just because I post them doesn't mean I agree with them.  I try to keep my opinions to myself on this page and let it be a racers rap page, for them to share their views.

Thanks for your time.  Dena

You must be a very special person to be able to predict the weather  over a half a year in advance.  I am sure if Mike had your foresight back in January that it was going to rain on November 1st he would have changed the date. I can not believe how you and many others can not see how much Mike and Dena do for racing here in So Cal.  When something is not right they work to fix it as soon as they can., it may not be what all want to see but at least they are listing and trying to make the track better all the time.  Hey KEVIN if you do not like things here go race over in Arizona and see how  far your candy A## attitude will get you. We ran all 8 tracks Arizona last year  along with Victorville and Barona.  With only a few exceptions Mike and Dena are the only track Promoters that care as much about the racers and quality of racing as they do about the bottom line. So why don't you use your Crystal ball see what would happen if Mike, Dena, and their staff just did not give a hoot. Kevin if you can do a better job I am sure the track is always looking for volunteers, but that would mean you have to get off your soap box and actually make a positive contribution our local race track.

Mike, Dena, and all the staff at Victorville Auto Raceway Thanks again for a great place to play!!

My wife's good friend, Eve, has a son with autism and they live here in Apple Valley. My wife is walking in "Walk Now for Autism" to support this cause and I was hoping that you would support her efforts. I'm including her email to me in hopes that you will visit her site, setup by the organization, to make a small donation. Those of you who know me, know that I have served on over 15 boards or committees locally to serve our community and I have never solicited help like this before. Thank you so much.

Follow this link to visit Emily Neistadt's page.

I am participating in Walk Now for Autism to help find a cure for autism. Autism is the second most common developmental disorder in the United States affecting one in every 150 children born today. Despite some promising discoveries, the cause of autism is unknown nd a cure does not exist. Research is crucial. Every 20 minutes another child is diagnosed with autism. Not only must we find ways to improve the quality of life for children and adults with autism, but we also must find a cure, and soon.
Walk Now for Autism is our chance to make a difference in the fight against autism by raising money for autism research and heightening public awareness. Please join me in my fight as I raise at least $250 to help fund essential research. I will be walking on November 16th and would like you to support those affected by autism. You can donate to Walk Now for Autism and join my team online through my webpage at
www.walknowforautism.org . Donations can also be mailed to Autism Speaks using the donation form located on my page or send me a check made out to Autism Speaks. My team name is Ryan's Hope, please note this on your check and the donation form.
Please join me in my fight against autism. Thank you for making a difference in the lives of the more than 1 million Americans living with autism today.
Sincerely,
Emily Neistadt

Mr Reed, I respect the compassion of the Sheriff but I have to agree with Jefro. A sheriff's job is to enforce the law. The fact of the situation is the homeowner the renters were renting from didn't pay the bill, therefore the banks evicted the occupants, as they had every right to do. A law is a Law and is only to be "Interpreted" by a judge not a sheriff. The sheriff was contacted to process an eviction, and he refused to do it. I don't care what profession you or anyone else are in, if you don't do the job your hired to do, it's out the door with ya. He was a Sheriff, Not a Mortgage Negotiator. And Jeff, before you slam someone on their reading ability, how about you proof read your own post??   Kevin  "Save the Drama for Yo Mama" Andrews   11/4/08

Good Going Mike. Throw a Latemodel race on a weekend when it is going to rain. I was looking forward to the latemodels all week long only to be disappointed by a rain out. Thanks A lot MIKE. Now a few are staying home because they are racing at  Manzanita the next week. Thanks again Mike, Your the Best.

Jefro I agree with you. Kevin Andrews, sorry, KEVIN MICHAEL ANDREWS!!!!!!!!!

KEVIN SCOTT  If your checking in, I have a DVD on it's way to you. It's not the best, but should give you your fix for a little while anyway. I hope everything is well with you and your guys. Take care bud, Kevin

just a little note to tell you all Im here in Iraq finally,
Im at COB Speicher which is above Baghdad nere Takrit. The weather is cool and my latoon is living in an old Iraqi Air Force Acadamy barracks on an old air field.
The base here is huge and is well protected, there is very little contact with the enemy here on base and very seldom attacked by mortars. So life is 1000 times

Ref the Sheriff, before you spout off at the mouth you should do some research!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and maybe read a little article or maybe that's to much for you because your are to busy judging other people. First lets get the facts STRAIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. The people were paying there RENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, that's right, they were paying RENT to a owner who was screwing the banks. The same Banks at any time that could take your home and my home away at any time. The SHERIFF did and is doing his job, The banks were using the system to throw innocent people out on the streets, these people are like you and me, They pay rent, get up and go to work everyday. The banks do care who they put on the street. There is a thing CALLED DUE PROCESS, and that's means for EVERYONE. They people who don't pay rent deserve to be put on the street. SO IF YOU WOULD HAVE READ, which I am not sure you know how to, you would notice that the sheriff is doing his job in both ways. making sure the banks don't take advantage of the hard working bill paying people, and kicking to the curb the people who think they can get a free ride!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Your comments are a disgrace to all LAW ENFORCEMENT and to every man and women who puts there life's on the line while your pretty but is in bed sleeping all safe and sound, the only reason this is possible is for these men and women who would die to protect your life, your husbands life and your children's life. It is obvious you need a reality check, remember who protects our COUNTRY, STATES and CITIES, Because the first time some one harms who the first thing you will do is CALL 911, when you do remember your comments, and when you get an attitude from the people trying to help you its probably because of your attitude towards the men and women who would lay their life's down in a second to protect who. Many have and no one has any respect!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

JEFF REED, Police Officer for 18 years and proud of it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

sheriff do you even know what his job is ? it is to enforce the law not write the law or interpret the law . if he doesn't want people homeless he should pay there rent or move them in to his garage. i wish i could only do part of my job and still get paid. dont you? how dare this punk use his imaginary authority to manipulate people to get voted in again. he should be ashamed to even put on a badge. probably the same guy who pushed girls and the mentally challenged out of the lunch line at school. i bet his parents are totally embarrassed to have given him his last name.   WERE YOU VOTED TO BE A SHERIFF OR DICTATOR ? KNOW YOUR ROLE OR RESIGN, OR MAYBE BUY YOUR OWN ISLAND. and ill even sign my name unlike this guy blind follower.    DAY MUDA FÍNG JEFRO,   JEFFERY ROBERT BLALOCK !!!!!!!!!!!

I just wanted to say Congratulations to my wonderful hubby, Jefro! You might not have a championship, only because you missed the one race, but I do believe you have the most laps and points that one racer could get in one season. Your a racin' mother and I love ya!!! The championship will come. I also want to say Congratulations to Suerchuck, you are a racin' mother as well, thanks for letting Jefro race your sport compact, it has been a great year!!!  Christi     10/31/08

I wanted to say to all the racers that I enjoyed this season, being a scorer is a tough job ( even though some of you think it so easy! ) I like doing it, it is challenging. Anyhow, all of you had a great season and I wanted to say to all racers Great Job and I look forward to the Turkey Classic and next season. I also want to give props to Dena and Mike Gibson, if it was not for your hard work, sacrifice, dedication, and true love for the sport we would not have V.A.R. Please take a moment and send this sheriff a thank you, he has taken a stand against the banks and stopped all evictions not allowing his officers to kick people out of there homes. He stopped this because the banks where throwing good hardworking people who are renting homes out of the houses and not going after the homeowners. So please send him an email in support of his efforts. It is nice to see a elected official doing his duty as he was sworn to. He his getting some pressure from the banks but he needs our support, please forward this to all your friends, family and coworkers.   10/8/09

I finished a figure 8 race man I love it I appolgise to the fans for braking that one time but it was 2 vs 1 and I'm kinda tired of stretching and pulling on lightning.  It was great being back in the bird not quite like she was but pretty close. Natolie has got to be the bravest girl at the track getting in a car that rolled last time out and don't forget who was driving. By the way how'd you like that wall your welcome .i ll see you all next time out .   10/08/08

Sure miss all of you, here at Ft McCoy we closing up shop after some pretty intense training. The weather here is cold now. Frost on the ground every morning and misty rain. Reminds me of Scotland. It drives me crazy to know that the Sparta and Lacrosse Speedways are so close I can hear them run but unable to get to see them. Hope the weather there provides great racing for all of you. Well of to make sure all my soldiers ate breakfast and to get ready for another gun range. Hey Vegas Boys  keep Andrews away from your grill, that boy can eat! LOL

Hey "Vegas Boyz" are you the ones with the Cool A$$ rigs near the back Last race??  I didn't make my way over there, but I had to pull 2 tear offs due to the drool on my way by!!

I'll Bring Meat for the Grill for my crew and a few extra. Sounds Fun.

For anyone looking for a way to kill time before races, Apple Valley Airport is having their AirShow on Saturday. It is completely FREE and only 15 minutes from the Track. take "D st"/hwy 18 east, just past St Mary's Hospital and make the left onto CORWIN RD follow to the end. I know the racers will be busy, but Friends Family and Fans come check it out.

opening ceremony starts around 10:30 (maybe a lil Later.) R/c Planes, Aerobatic Performances, Parachute drops, Red Bull Air Racer Mike Mangold is rumored to have his 400+ mph Racing Jet there.

Static Display of an f-18 from NASA Deep Space Network.  Oh yeah Apple Valley Aviation will be there too!!!

 Take care,

I want to apologize to all my fans and friends. Unfortunatley I did not get Lightning done. Between working and trying to finish up Lightning at night, didn't get all the repairs done in time, as well as parts that I ordered not coming in on time! I will be out for the last race. Thanks for all your support, and I will see you all next race.

Hello everyone, this is Jeff Reed all American driver and soon to be street stock driver. I am in need of employment, I have a valid class A commercial drivers license, I will be retired from law enforcement. Looking for something that can give me 40 hours a week. Thank you   08/30/08

I am looking for a cheep all american car.Can you ride 2 people in them..Layne    08/30/08

Heard a loose rumor that you combining minis and sport compacts. Personally that makes little sense. Do away with a non profit divison in favor for a division that you payback. Plus the fact that the sc's draw near full fields where as minis only brought seven to the last race. That means the minis brought in atleast $280 and you had to pay all of them where the sc's brought 17 and atleast $700 with no payback. I say you bump the minis down to the sc's let them keep their motor work but take away their hoosiers. That should even us out. plus you would be making well over $1000 a night in profit just from one division. Sounds like a no brainer to me.   Charlie 08/24/08

I have only been to your track a couple of times this season for the IMCA mods and the #10 and #10X cars cant pass a car without driving through them. I seen there cars after the main event. Maybe if they would have more patience they would save everyone alot of money by not driving through everyone. I think there motto is "either win or dnf" PATIENCE!!!   Amanda 08/24

Glad to hear you are ok Jefro!! Sounds like you had a wild ride, Happy anniversary to you and Christy, I sure miss all you guys. Patti#38  08/22/08

P.S. when your philosophy is "checkers or wreckers" your bound to get wreckers sometimes!!!!                08/20/08

I think it's funny how people just automatically assume favoritism. As far as the people UPSTAIRS are concerned a certain 59 car threatened to get his money back and not race because he was put at the back for being late. HMMMM! But somehow, he was shifted around and given a better spot because he debated with Mike. If you pay to go racing, and your not paid to go racing it is for fun, not a livelyhood. And also as far as the upstairs go, Mike is TRACK MANAGER, even the UPSTAIRS answer to him and he makes final call, only sometimes does he ask for an opinion... and takes it into consideration.     Christi   08/20/08

FRIGGIN A JEFRO, what a blast to watch i am glad you werent hurt and was able to pop out and proclaim your love to your wife, awesome. big A for effort bro your what racing is about, the FUN. SC # 28   08/20/08

so i didnt get to watch the main event for the mods, but it seems like any class that has more then 5 cars in it all the track officials are concerned with are the ones that are the fastest, case in point when jason andrews was racing, tony kinkade, or who ever the number one person is in the sprints. just because a team figures something out on the track or the driver, nd ihes able to drive really well people act like it shouldnt be. im sorry but when someone gets it right and is a good driver dont point and pick on them. but i do have to agree with my car chief the less we have in mods the faster the mods races will go they might actually be able to 5 laps and not for at a time.lol sc # 28 08/20/08

Kincade's people claiming you guys are unfair......The golden boy who doesn't have to park with the rest of the drivers (even after you had the lines chalked) and the driver who only goes on and off for wheelpack is now crying you're unfair...

Bennie   08/20/08

Although losing Tony Kinkaid stinks (he is one hell of a Shoe, and a Blast to watch)  I gotta say it's a relief to have at least one less mod out there.

It seems lately, you all couldn't get a race started if you drove off a cliff together. --SC#28 Car Chief   08/19/08

FOR THOSE OF YOU THAT ARE WANDERING AND ASKING THE 59 CAR WAS KICKED OFF THE TRACK FOR JUMPING THE START. I DON'T KNOW ABOUT THE 20 CAR. BUT IF YOU WATCH THE TAPE YOU CAN CLEARLY SEE THAT THE 59 CAR WASN'T THE ONE WHO DID IT. ALTHOUGH THE FOCUS ALWAYS TO BE ON HIM. OTHER DRIVERS COME TO HIM AND SAY, "ITS FUNNY YA KNOW, I JUMP THE START ALL THE TIME BUT I DON'T WORRY ABOUT IT BECAUSE I KNOW THEY'LL BE WATCHING YOU." SO WHAT DOES THAT TELL YOU ABOUT THE UPSTAIRS?
Colynn Kinkade     08/19/08

Wow, what an awesome show on Saturday.  It was cool to see Kevin & Jason Andrews back on the track together.  Great race Kevin.  You lost your mind on that last lap and almost gave it away, but you

reeled it back in.  Good Job.  Jefro, you put on one heck of a show.

You're a highlight film all by yourself.  I see why you are a fan favorite.  Count me in the "Lightning" fan club.  I'm still rolling on the floor laughing when I think about you running around on the track with that banner while the EMT's are trying to get you to the ambulance.  Way to go.  Bobby Kimbrough [bjpowertv@mac.com]

In regards to the line up questions that seem to get asked every race.  Line ups are done on a points average with non points cars going to the back of cars with averages for heats, mains are then done based on qualifying from heats and point average.  However if you do not make the 4pm deadline of sign in and you show up after line ups are done then you go to the back.  To much time is taken to get line ups done and to have to redo them every time someone shows up late.  This has been in affect for the entire season and is written in your track rules, if you need a copy of the rules please let the girls in the sign up booth know and they will gladly give you a copy.  These rules are also on the website and were at the banquet for anyone to pick up.  Management will usually give you a race emergency, so if you have a one or two time occurrence that for some reason you happen to be running late and don't think you are going to make the 4pm cut off give Dena 760-221-7714 a call so that she can put you in the line up.  (this is not for those of you how always show up late)    08/19/08

First off  I'm glad we have a track up here but I don"t get some of the calls IMCA Mods.Black flag for 59 and 20 why? The two 10 cars drive thru cars every week.last night the yellow 10 flat out drove in to 31 in turn one for 2nd place and took hiself  out (LOL) After the race we go in the pits the flag guys are buddy buddy with the 10 crew (Makes sense now) When you have a fuel spill on the track you put dirt on it you don't run cars with flames coming out of their pipes thru it.maybe you should send some pepole to the PAS to learn a little.on a good note it was great to here someone call the races thats not to drunk to see the numbers on the cars.Thank you for your time  Kent  Pinon hills

MIKE AND DENA JUST LET ME SAY MY HATS OFF TO YOU. YOU MANAGED AGAIN TO DISQUALIFY THE WRONG CAR ON THE TRACK. MIKE IF YOU TAKE THE WORD OF THE PEOPLE UPSTAIRS AND YOUR FLAG MAN THEN YOU SHOULD BE 100% SURE THAT WHAT THEY ARE TELLING YOU IS WHAT'S RIGHT. YOU NEED TO GO AND WATCH THE VIDEOS OF SATURDAY NIGHTS RACES AND THEN TELL ME WHO JUMPED THE START IN THE MODIFIED MAIN. I KNOW AT LEAST 3 PEOPLE THAT HAVE IT ON TAPE AND ONE IS YOUR OWN TRACK VIDEO PERSON. NOT ONLY THAT WHEN YOU HAVE GUYS SHOW UP TO RACE THAT HAVE ONLY BEEN THERE ONCE OR NOT AT ALL, HOW DO THEY START IN THE FRONT? THEY DON'T EVEN HAVE A POINT AVERAGE AND ISN'T THAT HOW THE RACES ARE LINED UP? YOU ALSO NEED TO THROW YOUR RULES AT EVERYONE NOT JUST A SELECT FEW AND NOT ONLY WHEN YOU FEEL LIKE IT.  AND IF YOUR GOING TO BE THROWING THESE RULES AROUND YOU SHOULD AT LEAST HAVE A CLUE OF WHAT THEY ARE AND WHAT THEY MEAN. ALSO A WORD FOR THE ONES IN THE PITS THAT THINK THEY KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON. WELL TO THE HARESKYS AND THE GUYS OF THE 07 CAR GET A CLUE!!!  ITS TO BAD THAT WE CAN'T HAVE A TRACK THAT CAN BE FAIR. THE OFFICIALS AT A WELL RUN TRACK DON'T SHOW FAVORITISM TO CERTAIN DRIVERS AND THE HEAD GUY DOESN'T JUST LISTEN TO THE PEOPLE UPSTAIRS. MAYBE HE SHOULD GO UPSTAIRS HIMSELF AND SEE THINGS FROM ANOTHER ANGLE, THEN MAKE THE CALL. ALL OF THE STUFF THAT HAPPENED IN THE PITS AFTER WE WERE DISQUALIFIED FOR NOTHING, WAS FOR NOTHING. NO ONE WAS KICKED OUT, NO ONE GOT IN TROUBLE. BUT JUST SO YOU ALL KNOW WE WON'T BE BACK. TWO BAD CALLS THIS YEAR FROM THE PEOPLE UPSTAIRS COST US BIG AND I HOPE YOU ARE PROUD OF THAT. I HOPE YOU POST THIS SO OTHERS CAN GIVE THEIR OPINIONS BUT I'M NOT HOLDING MY BREATH.

Colynn Kinkade

Hi Mike and Dena,

Thanks for having me last Saturday.  I had a lot of fun (which is the whole point).  I am glad to see that Victorville speedway has people running the show that really want to continually improve things.

I thought it was really cool that you cut the track during intermission.  That is going the extra mile to try and make the track as good as possible.  I would guess the drivers and fans appreciate that, I know I did.

I am looking forward to the turkey classic.

Thanks again,

Hi Everyone.  Ej here with Sports.  Get your tire orders in for this weekend coming.  I have a few select mini stock and two IMCA modified 19’s only in stock.  I will not have what you need unless I here from you by Tuesday at the latest.  On another note thanks for the support on our new unleaded additive.  We told you.  It really does turn pump gas into race gas.  One driver said he would never run the car again without it.  It made such a difference that when he drove without it he actually had to adjust his driving techniques to make up for the difference. Anyway, we knew it would work and thanks for backing us.  Call 714.996.RACE or email ej@sportsracingfuel.com for questions and orders.  08/10/08

Just a quick hello to my friends at VVAR, I arrived at Camp Roberts on 17 July 2008 in Central CA. I got off the bus with only 8 soldiers assigned to me and was greated by a 43 person Platoon. Im now the Platoon Sergent for HQ Platoon C Company 1st Battalion 185th Armor. Since then my platoon has been living in WWII era wooden open bay barracks with no AC. Its been between 93 and 105 everyday with 19% humidity. We get to wear all the standard crap along with our body armor with SAPI Plates, weapon, gas mask, and helmet. We have been shooting and doing individul training.

The first week was a challenge getting back into the swing of things in a line company verses being a recruiter. The cool thing is there are not only a lot of felow soldiers from our last deployment but over 40 soldier who I enlisted into the Battalion. We get up at 0430 every day for PT and bed down around 2330 (1130 PM). Ive been reduced to drinking water and Gatoraide and eating only enough food to keep me going. Between the sweat and work im down about 17 pounds and already beginning to bulk up a bit.

Well ill be home on pass on 11-15 Aug, on 16 Aug we being homestation work in Apple Valley until our going away ceremony on 22 Aug at 16:00 (4 pm) at the Orange Show fairgrounds. I plan on seeing you all on 16 Aug at the race to help out my boys in the Thomas Motosports Stable, I might even bring the grill like old times.

See you all soon

All drivers and fans…It is my sad duty to inform you that a fellow driver, my brother in law Johnny E. Buckles , who drove the 71 Ford Ranger, passed away today 7/31/08 @ 3:17am after years battling Pulmonary Hypertension. We as a family felt it necessary to share this with you because the time he got to drive his truck on the track with everyone was some of the best times of his life. He will be missed. If you would like any information please fill free to call me, Anthony, the #49 street stock, @ 760-868-3715. We are also trying to raise money for his services so if you would like to help, anything will be greatly appreciated.

Hey THOMAS 33A SS CREW CHIEF,

How does a One man pit crew constitute a Chief?? (see video of THOMAS Here >>>  http://youtube.com/watch?v=pVyS7E8yx_w  )

THOMAS 33A SS CREW CHIEF,  800$ for a cage is kinda steep considering there are three almost, if not, complete Sport Compacts on the for sale page for cheaper. There is one for $500 one for 750 and one for 300. Why spend that on a cage when you can get a race ready one for cheaper. Maybe its just me. Looking forward to the next race!!!   SC46    07/28/08

I NEED SOME ONE WHO IS WILLING TO HELP ME PUT A ROLL CAGE IN FOR CHEAP, OR MAYBE PAYMENTS AND IAM WILLING TO PUT ANYONES NAME ON THE CAR AS SPONSORSHIP. IF SOMEONE THAT ISNT A METAL FABRICATOR BUT IS INTERESTED IN HAVING THEIR COMPANY SEEN BY A HUNDRED FANS OR SO AND WOULD LIKE TO HELP MAY COTACT ME AS WELL ABOUT HELPING ME WITH A ROLL CAGE SO FAR THE ONLY PRICE I HAVE IS 800 DOLLARS TO GET THIS DONE FOR A SPORTS COMPACT, ID LIKE TO DO A MINI STOCK CAGE THO ANYONE THAT IS INTERESTED IN SPONSORING FOR OTHER RACE RELATED ITEMS FOR A RACE CAR CONTACT ME AS WELL. To all my friends and fans, Sorry to say, The Stauffacher Racing #5 Sprint car will not be back this season, due to the amount of bad luck throughout the season. We have  just received the damage report on our motor, (and the $$$$ amount needed to fix it) and we have come to the conclusion that we will not be able to finish off the season. Thanks to the Perkins for letting us rent the sprint the other night, we were hoping to have ours fixed in time, but now we know that’s not going to happen.  I would personally like to Thank all of my sponsors who have supported me , Professional Realty, ITI Performance Motorsports, Hesperia Hose Supply, Justice Brothers, and mainly  Betsy Miller.

Again, Sorry to miss out the rest of the season, but I will still be around the track with gear bag in hand!! LOL!!

Sincerely

Hello to all, This is Jeff Reed, I am in the process of bumping up to street stock with the car I was running in all American. As I do research it is very hard to find any set up information, I know the car is not ideal but it is what I have. I am looking for some basic information on set ups. I have also added a page to my website, www.stickittooyou.com for free set up information. If you would like to pass on information for beginners like me, please send me an email with the type of car, class you run and your set ups, if you don't want your name mentioned then let me know if you don't care I will post it. I appreciate any help I can get and I will forward it on to others. Thankyou
