NORTH vs. SOUTH
2010 Season Rules
4/3, 6/5,
7/24, 9/5
The first and most important thing you need to know before entering this 4 race shoot out is that this shoots out
was solely designed to promote a fun and harmless rivalry between VAR and The PAS. Any driver or driver’s crew or family
who does not conduct themselves in a friendly and harmless matter will be suspended from this competition at any time. Drivers
you are responsible for the conduct of your family, friends, and crew and may be suspended for their actions. Oh and smack
talk is highly recommended through this shoot out but please keep it clean and fun.
The rules of this shoot out are very simple. You must be a member of VAR or The PAS (not both).
You must pre enter for the shoot out on or before the first
event.
All entries must acknowledge
which team they will represent during the shoot out prior to the first event. Your residence has nothing to do with your choice
nor will your choice be held against you regardless of the team you choose. No independents all entries must claim a team.
There is no minimum or maximum number of entries per team.
All cars interred must conform to all VAR and PAS Street Stock rules and are subject to tech at both
locations.
Points: The dates chosen
for the shoot out are normal VAR and Pas season point’s races. We will simply remove all non shoot out members from
those nights’ main event finish. The highest placing shoot out member will receive 40 points the next person 38 points
and 2 point increments from there on. Just think of it as a race within a race. If you finish 5th in the main event
and are the highest placing shoot out member in the field you are the winner of that nights shoot out race and will be awarded
40 points towards the shoot out championship. This in no way will affect your normal track championship points. Points will
only be awarded to those that are in that night’s main event line up.
Championship: The one person that receives the highest amount of points after the 4 races will be
the shoot out champion and will receive a trophy and 1000.00 dollars. Also whichever track that person represents that track
will also receive a trophy and keep that trophy until the other track can win it back.
It is the intention of VAR and The PAS to make this a long standing
tradition. Thanks and good luck.
